football the last 2 years and have been involved is Leadership at my school. In football we would hold

information I am going to be taught. I want everything I learn from college to help me not only in my
career but also in life. I have been influenced by my family, teachers, and friends that college is right for
me. I have worked hard in school to try to better myself and set myself up for success. I believe college
would lead me further into my success.
- Briefly discuss your academic background. Did you utilize any additional support at your high school, such as tutoring? Do your grades in high school and/or college reflect your academic ability or potential?
have yet to need to utilize additional support like tutoring because I have been able to gain support from
teachers. Just because I have not utilized additional support does not mean I am not willing too. I will
gladly seek the extra help if I am having trouble with school work. I believe my grades do not reflect my
potential because I know I am capable of more and I am willing to push myself to reach my full academic
ability.
- Briefly describe your family's economic background. Include information about your financial challenges.
bills and payments hit the household at once causing a problem. At that point there is more money going
out then there is coming in. Around that time we try to be smart with our money and not waste in on
unnecessary purchases.
- Please tell us more about yourself. Is there any additional information you would like EOP to consider in determining your admission to the program?
opportunity to gain help when I need it. This extra help is college is huge because the information in
classes is harder and if you don't keep up you are going to fall behind. The EOP program can help you
keep up and not fall behind by offering extra help. If I don't understand a topic and the Professor does not
have extra time to help me I can get help from a tutor from the EOP. The EOP program is a great asset
that I would love to be a part of.
